Introducing
the second generation for SATELLITE NAVI, the watch with built
it GPS receiver that lets you pick up signals from GPs satellites
for readout of your current position, and PC linking capabilities
that let you exchange data with a personal computer. These feature-packed
new models come in a configuration that is much more compact
than the original SATELLITE NAVI. Features and functions include
the following.
Current
Position
One-shot or continuous readings of your current
position appear as latitude and longitude values on the display.
Landmark
and Track Memory
Memory can store up to 200 landmarks or 400
automatically recorded tracks (tracking your movement).
Graphical
Navigation Display
The direction
and distance to your destination are shown graphically on
the display to help get you where you are going.
Plot
Screen
With the Plot Screen you can see at a glance
your plotted movement in relation to landmarks and intended
route (start point, waypoints, destination).
Bearing
and Speed Screen
This screen, which available only during continual
1-second interval position readings, shows your current bearing
and speed.

Newly Added Features
Much smaller configuration
Size is reduced by 20% vertically, 8% horizontally, and 25%
in thickness (all percentages approximate).
Charger attachment for battery charging Charger
can also be powered using alkaline batteries.
PC linking Bundled
SATELLITE NAVI LINK software lets you create track points
and waypoints, and plan routes on your PC screen, and then
download the data to the SATELLITE NAVI watch. You can transfer
data from the watch back to your PC, including track points
recorded by GPs position measurements.
50M water resistant
Use of a built-in lithium battery for power provides a higher
level of water resistance.
Altitude readouts 3-dimensional
GPS capabilities also make it possible to determine your current
altitude. Altitude readings are stored in memory and used
for graphic of altitude changes over time.
Higher resolution display
The display has been improved from 32 x 31 dots to 48 x 31
dots dots for easier viewing.
Multi-windowing Multi-windowing
